One Year Later

This was one of the first pictures Daddy took of me with Sonora. He took this late one night while he watched me and let Mommy sleep.


Sonora came to visit us a few weeks ago. We tried to capture a similar photo. It was much harder to get. I was not a big fan of having Sonora back, plus I don't sit still that long.

Friday I had my first birthday. On Sunday I had my first birthday party. The weather warmed up and we had rain which wasn't great but it was better than snow. Anyways, Mommy spent a lot of time getting ready for the party. She even made the cupcakes for it. Miss Catherine suggested the smash cake and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved the idea and I loved the cake. Check out a few of the highlights.


Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. I wasn't quite sure what to make of that.
I started by gracefully taking small bites.

Ice Cream!!!

Mommy took me to the Knoebel's craft fair with Daddy and Nana. We met Aunt Wendy and Meredith. It was lots of fun but lots of walking. I found something that I like about Penn State while I was there. The Creamery has the best ice cream.

I think my face says it all.
Mommy had the bright idea to take a family picture taken while we were there. I had other ideas. Taking a nap was a much better idea.
I need my sleep I have been busy crawling and climbing up the steps. Plus I am working on a tooth!

I love to play games with him too. I can take his glasses off. He taught me how to give High-5's. Daddy helped me practice it though.

Happy Fall Everyone! Mommy finally decided to make a blog. Now you can keep up with all of my adventures. It has been a busy one already. I had one VERY big change. Mommy went back to work. Now she has lots of kids to take care of. Grammy, Nana, and Miss Nikki watch me while she is gone. I am super excited though for her to be home. Check back soon, more updates to come.
